Lazy Daze

Ahh...there's nothing like getting out of school for the day and not having homework all day long. Me and Emily stayed home today and watched Aladdin and Airplane! I think days where you have absolutely no responsibilities are absolutely perfect!

The new church program that has been introduced to us is probably a good thing for everyone, because sometimes in seminary, our teacher will teach us some stuff, and we will just spout it back out like a broken fountain. This new curriculum will help us learn more by actually participating in lessons rather than learning it  one day and forgetting it the next.

Pictures in my Head

I have a mild case of autism, and while I won't go into too many details, one thing that separates me from other people is my memorization skills and my ability to picture things in my head. I don't want to seem like a bragger, but if I have seen a movie or TV show 2 or 3 times, I can repeat almost all of the dialogue. As for the images, I can picture something in my head and, if it doesn't have too much detail in it, I can make a rough copy of it, like costumes or cartoon characters. However, this is one of my problems. It's just a rough copy. I hope to someday reach the point where I can see something, look at it for a few minutes, and then put it down on paper.
Also, Happy Birthday, Grandpa!

Determination

When I set my mind to something, it's hard to snap me out of it. If I am in the middle of an art project, I hate being interrupted by work that I have to do, or people that I have to talk to. I think this could be considered a good trait or a fault. It might be good, because if I work hard, getting it done as soon as possible is good. On the other hand, working too hard and not having enough time for your relatives is very bad. So, once again, it's always good to have a balance between things.

Post Season Credits (or It's A Jolly Holiday)

The presents have all been unwrapped. The soda has (mostly) been drank. It's time to make the resolutions. My resolution this year: control my diet. I've been getting a bit of heartburn lately, and I think that I am in serious need of changes in eating habits. I resolve to eat my food more slowly, to not always ask for seconds, and to get more variety of all the food groups. I like to eat a lot of food (and I mean I really like to eat a lot of food), but I can gain the willpower to stay with it.

On another note, I will not ask as many questions in my blog, because I don't want to seem desperate for others to notice me. If nobody decides to comment on a post, that's fine with me. I'll just keep posting and going on with my life.

Y U No Snow?!

Where's the snow? It's snowed a few times, but it's just been slight smatterings. It is never fully Christmas until you have a lot of snow on the ground (unless you live in a tropical place, in which you can't really have a full Christmas). I believe that I speak for the majority of the Madison High School student body when I say this: Bring On the Snow!
