Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny

Crossovers. We think about them a lot. We ask ourselves questions, like "What would happen if Doctor Who entered the Star Trek universe?", or "Who would win in a fight: Spider-Man, Sonic the Hedgehog, or the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles?" Someday, someone will create a crossover unlike any other, uniting the best of video game, cartoon, and comic book characters to see who will come out on top. And by "someone", I mean me. I am pretty sure that I know enough about each universe to effectively create a story that would do each series justice. If you think of any ideas for crossovers, please share them with me. I appreciate your input.

Mock Trial

In my government class, we have outlawed the use of Smarties to anyone in the classroom. Apparently, one of our fellow classmates has been accused of dealing Smarties to others. We are currently deciding whether he is guilty or not guilty. I am playing the part of the district attorney, and I am in charge of the objections and opening statement, so wish me luck!

Movie Trivia

A lot of famous movies all contain bits of trivia that a lot of people do not know about. Fortunately, there is one who can help you: me. Join me as we journey into the unknown side of movies.

Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl: Jack Sparrow. Tinker, tailor, sailor, pirate. We all know him as the main characters. However, DID YOU KNOW THAT Jack Sparrow was actually a minor character in the original script? Due to Johnny Depp's improvisation, the quirky Jack was brought into play, and a whole movie franchise was saved.
Star Wars IV: A New Hope: The stormtroopers in this movie are the worst A.I. I have ever seen. They cannot hit a single target and are simple minded enough to be susceptible to the Jedi mind wipe. But DID YOU KNOW THAT one of them is so stupid as to hit his head on one of the doors? It's in there, trust me. Look closely when a group is going through a door.
X-Men: If you haven't seen it, see it. Two teams of people who are scorned by the rest of the world. The script used was written by Brian Singer, also notable for Superman Returns. Again, DID YOU KNOW THAT the original script was written by Joss Whedon? Joss Whedon was the writer for The Avengers. Only two lines of his script have survived to make it in the movie:
"Whoa, wait, it's me."
"Prove it."
"You're a dork."
*beat*
"Okay."
-and-
"Do you what happens to a Toad when it's struck by lightning? The same thing that happens to everything else." (Toad promptly gets zapped off the building)
NOW YOU KNOW!

Some Assembling Required

My favorite movie of all time as of now: The Avengers!

Every moment in that movie was a Crowning Moment of Awesome or Funny. Thor smashing Hulk in the face with his hammer! Captain America being the only one to get the reference to the "flying monkeys"! Iron Man blaming a SHIELD agent for playing Galaga... and he continues to play it when no one is looking! Hawkeye taking down the aliens without any arrows! Black Widow hijacking an alien airship! Hulk using Loki as a ragdoll, and the comment: "Puny god." Kudos to Joss Whedon for creating such an awesome movie that will be talked about for years to come!

Obsession

I have a tendency to obsess about certain stuff that I like. If I ever think of a certain thing in my head, like a new Marvel costume idea, or a Nintendo/Hasbro crossover, I think about it a bit before I put it on paper. The only problem is that when I look at it later, I say to myself, "What was I thinking?", and quickly erase it. I guess I just don't have the commitment to stick to a particular subject. Oh well. Back to the Marvel vs. Dc debate...again.

Staked

Stake conference is come and gone, and I think that I am a better person because of it. I especially liked Sister Choi's talk about waiting for an answer in prayer. Sometimes, I feel like I am much too impatient with others. I feel like if they don't want to talk about what I want to talk about, I need to change the subject back to what I was on. I find it so hard to carry on a real conversation with anyone outside of my own family members, and even then, my conversations can seem a bit one-sided.

The More the Glee...

I love to laugh!
Okay, you may say all of the Mary Poppins jokes you can think of right...now.

Are you done? Good. Please continue.
Thank you. It is my firm belief that laughter is a great habit to have. The more you laugh in your daily lives, the better your future lives will be. Having a positive attitude all the time shows that you are a good person, and that you enjoy trying new things and being around new people. How was that?
That was... strangely profound.
Why can't you have a positive attitude ever?
I always have a positive attitude. I just never share it with you.
I've never seen you laugh at anything.
I sometimes chuckle knowingly at cat videos.
Don't we all.
